Some time ago, it occurred to me to put together the recipes of my two grandmothers, Inés Alonso Montijo and Emilia Medina. The process began by remembering and searching boxes, photos, drawers, and other treasures of remembrance. I told my sister Emilia (Millie) and asked her to help me collect them. She interviewed aunts, cousins, and neighbors and we searched, met, and composed many of them. The book is 12"x12" and 250 pages.
